Katts Tame Lady Indians
3/30/2008
For the second time this softball season, the Bluekatts
defeated the Jim Ned Lady Indians. The score was 5-4 in
a game played at Jim Ned. It went the full seven innings
but the final score was actually settled in the 3rd as
neither team scored after that. The Katts scored a run
in their first at bat, Jim Ned bounced back and topped
that with three but the Katts countered with runs of
their own in the next couple innings to get the win. The
Katts will play Bangs here Tuesday.
Worsham's Homer Powers Cats by
Ballinger
3/26/2008
It's something you don't see a lot at the expansive
Bluecat baseball field, a home run, but Brandon Worsham
conquered the monster at The Yard Tuesday with a 3 run
homer that helped lead the Bluecats to a 7-4 win over
the Ballinger Bearcats. The Bluecats will be at Jim Ned
Friday at 4:00pm.

Katts Romp Over Lady Bearcats
Hold Down 2nd Place in District
3/26/2008
The Bluekatt softball team began the second half of
district play Tuesday against a Ballinger team they lost
to in a dust storm in late February. This time, though,
it was all Coleman all the time as the Katts put 20 runs
across the plate to Ballinger's 3. The Katts
are now 5-2 in district.
The next
game for the Katts is scheduled for 5:00pm this Friday
at Jim Ned in Tuscola.
Katts Take One from Lady Dillos
3/25/2008
The Bluekatt softball team got back on the winning track
Monday afternoon at their home field with an 11-1
victory over the San Saba Lady Dillos, a game rained out
last week and made up Monday.
The Katts are back in action today (Tues) as Ballinger
comes to town to begin the second half of district play.
The Katts hope to avenge an early season loss to the
Lady Bearcats at 5:00pm.
Over on the baseball diamond at CHS, the Bluecats hope
to get the bats going against the Ballinger Bearcats in
a district game scheduled for 4:00pm. Be sure to
go out and support our CHS athletes.
