Adding to its appeal, the Scottish Football Museum was awarded £51,914 for a partnership to explore the strong links between football and mining in Scotland, bringing fresh perspectives and new exhibits to the museum.

The National Football Museum in Manchester sneaks inside the 10 with an overall score of 6.9/10. 83% of guests rated it four stars or more, giving it an average Trip Advisor score of 4.26. However, its expensive (£14) entry price pulls it down the rankings slightly.
