Ethanol Producer Magazine has announced the keynote speakers for the 2025 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo (FEW), scheduled to take place from 9–11 June 2025 at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The general session is set for 9–11 a.m. CST on Tuesday, 10 June.
“The general session at the International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo brings together the leading associations in the ethanol industry to discuss the latest policies, challenges and innovations shaping ethanol’s future,” said John Nelson, chief operating officer at BBI International. “These panelists are helping chart a path forward—one that ensures ethanol remains a cornerstone of the U.S. economy.”
Now in its 41st year, the FEW will feature a keynote address by Geoff Cooper, president and CEO of the Renewable Fuels Association.
Immediately following Geoff Cooper’s keynote, a panel of senior leaders from key industry associations will delve into important policy updates, emerging challenges, and strategic objectives for the sector. The session will be moderated by Ben Rhodes, Executive Director of the Nebraska Ethanol Board, and will include the following panellists:
• Brian Jennings, CEO, American Coalition for Ethanol
• Chris Bliley, Senior Vice President, Growth Energy
• Troy Bredenkamp, Senior Vice President, Government & Public Affairs, Renewable Fuels Association
The 2025 FEW promises three dynamic days of events, featuring a robust programme divided into four specialist tracks:
• Production and Operations: Biological Processes
• Production and Operations: Mechanical Processes and Plant Control
• Coproducts and Product Diversification
• Leadership and Financial Management
Delegates will also have the chance to participate in three co-located events: the Carbon Capture & Storage Summit, the Sustainable Fuels Summit (addressing Sustainable Aviation Fuel, Renewable Diesel, and Biodiesel), and the Ethanol 101 session. With expert-led talks, in-depth discussions, and networking opportunities, the FEW will serve as a vital forum to explore new innovations, policy trends, and strategic directions shaping the future of ethanol and renewable fuels.
