Brits love an airport pint – with 1 in 3 Brits heading straight to the pub at the airport (Metro). And with 75% of holidaymakers admitting to enjoying a breakfast beer before flying, and two-thirds say it’s an essential highlight of the trip.
However, as nearly 70% of holidaymakers admit to going over budget on their last trip abroad, WildPack American Summer Camps have studied the leading 15 airports to review the publicly available prices of a Pint, a Full English and a Hot Meal (here) to try and save Brits on their next trip.
Lucky for Londoners, Stansted, Heathrow and Gatwick all join Edinburgh and Birmingham in offering the cheapest Airport pint in the UK – all thanks to Tim Martin’s Wetherspoon offering fliers a cut-price pint.
WildPacks American Summer Camp founder Jamie Fraiser, explains “We know an Airport pint has become a rite of passage before a big trip – like spending a summer abroad – but with such a discrepiancy betwen venues, it really does pay to know where is the cheapest in every terminal”

- Be smart with duty-free – Check prices online before falling for ‘discounted’ airport deals.
- Eat before you leave – A proper meal at home reduces the temptation to overspend at overpriced terminals.
- Avoid travel-sized toiletries – Use reusable bottles and pack smart.
- Check in online – Avoid extra airline charges and sit with your mates!
